(tl;dr) Is Test Craft Camp for me?
Yes! Assuming you want to spend a day conferring and collaborating with other people passionate about software testing.
Test Craft Camp is an unconference. It’s a participant-driven meeting for and by people with an interest in software testing. The organizers arrange a venue and provide a basic structure; the rest is up to all of us, the participants.
Unconference you say?
The idea of an unconference is to learn from and share with each other. It’s a way to build a conference around those meaningful interactions you have during the breaks at a normal conference.
This means an unconference like Test Craft Camp is very participant-driven meeting. We use Open Space Technology for this as an event format. Instead of having a pre-determined agenda, we will create one at the start of the unconference – together. Anyone who wants to initiate a session on a topic can claim a time and a space. Anyone who wants to join a session, simply goes to the right space at the right time.
Since it’s called “Test Craft Camp” we do expect topics to be related to the field of testing. However, a lot of topics are related to testing. Be creative. If you need inspiration for topics, go here.
